In this project, I focused on replicating the AJ Table Lamp by Arne Jacobsen, using Fusion 360 to design the components and bring the lamp to life. The process involved a lot of problem-solving and critical thinking, from understanding the lamp's materials and functionality to figuring out how to replicate its form using various tools. I gained hands-on experience with 3D printing, sewing machines, and laser cutters, learning how to use these technologies to create precise parts. The project emphasized the importance of iteration and exploration in design, as I had to constantly adjust and refine my approach to successfully create a functional prototype.
