AT&T Discovery District

How might we improve community participation with the AT&T Discovery District? 

Following our preliminary discussions with AT&T and Legends staff, we chose to focus our work on increasing participation of Downtown Dallas residents.  

Through review of available literature, including government reports, academic papers, local magazine articles, and newspapers, we learned that Downtown residents tend to be working-age, live in smaller households, do not have children, and experience a number of challenges that make it harder for them to fully embrace active, engaged connections with their surroundings.
